About Anisa

Hey! I’m Ani, a college student at John Abbott studying in the Arts & Science program. I’m here to help any student from 4th to 11th grade get through school or ace their exams:) I graduated from the International Baccalaureate program which offers high-quality educational programs, training me to excel in many subjects, especially French and Math (both of which I teach). I am a grade A student and have received 9 diplomas of excellence. Because I’ve received education from great and experienced teachers, I truly believe I’ll be able to assist any student in need of help. Plus, I've been tutoring for over a year so I'm not new to this, don't worry. Excited to meet you!

About the lesson

French doesn't have to be complicated. With the right approach, learning grammar becomes fun and simple! Reading becomes interesting and writing becomes relaxing. During our lessons, we will focus on each student's weaknesses and find out what teaching style motivates them the most, in order to not only learn the French language, but also enjoy it. I give students access to free personalized class notes I create for them. Lessons include doing practice exercises till the subject is mastered, going over pre-made notes and questions, repeating the theory to help the student retain new information, and summarizing what we covered after each class. In my experience, I've noticed that each student learns differently and appreciates different teaching styles. For that reason, I remain very flexible and open with my lesson plans to truly help each student reach their potential. Lastly, I am fluent in French, English and Persian and happy to communicate with students in their preferred language!
