I am a dedicated and reliable tutor with a strong passion for language learning. As a McGill student with C1-level French and experience in tutoring, I understand both academic expectations and the challenges students face. My goal is to provide clear, structured support while creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving at their own pace.
I take the time to explain concepts thoroughly, adapt to each student’s needs, and track their progress. My lessons are organized, well-prepared, and consistent. I prioritize being punctual, attentive, and professional in every session.

I aim to help students feel confident using French in real situations, not just on tests. I focus on Québécois French, so students learn how the language is actually spoken in everyday life. As a C1 bilingual speaker, I balance clear grammar explanations with practical use.
My lessons are adapted to each student and follow a simple, effective structure. I break down grammar into clear steps, then we practice through speaking, listening, and either homework help or supplementary exercises. I use real-life examples and conversations to make the language feel natural, and I give clear feedback so students understand their mistakes and improve quickly.
A typical lesson usually includes:
- A quick review of previous material
- Introduction of a new concept
- Practice through homework or exercises
- Application through speaking or writing
- A short recap and optional practice for next time
What sets me apart is that I focus on both academic success and real fluency. I explain concepts in a way that actually makes sense, especially for English-speaking students, and I help students sound more natural and feel comfortable using French.

Je cherche à aider les étudiants à se sentir à l’aise en utilisant le français dans des situations réelles, et pas seulement pour les examens. Je mets l’accent sur le français québécois afin que les élèves apprennent comment la langue est réellement parlée au quotidien. En tant que locutrice bilingue avec un niveau C1, je combine des explications claires de la grammaire avec une utilisation pratique.
Mes cours sont adaptés à chaque élève et suivent une structure simple et efficace. J’explique la grammaire étape par étape, puis nous pratiquons à travers l’expression orale, la compréhension et soit l’aide aux devoirs, soit des exercices supplémentaires. J’utilise des exemples concrets et des situations de la vie réelle pour rendre la langue plus naturelle, et je donne des rétroactions claires pour que les élèves comprennent leurs erreurs et progressent rapidement.
Un cours typique comprend généralement :
- Une courte révision de la matière précédente
- L’introduction d’un nouveau concept
- De la pratique à travers les devoirs ou des exercices
- Une mise en application à l’oral ou à l’écrit
- Un bref résumé et des suggestions pour pratiquer
