About Lydia

My name is Lydia Lee, I am a korean canadian. English is my mother tongue, french is my second language and on the side I love practicing my spanish and korean. I majored in philosophy for a year at Mcgill University and am currently taking the semester off to switch to a different program and school. I am looking to study at ITHQ in a sommelier program as I have developped an interest for the culinary and wine culture through work. I want to tutor to help young teenagers in school and inspire them to strive for excellence, even if they do not adore their classes. Passionate leaders always make a difference, and if this is one way I can take part in being one, I wouldn't miss the chance.

About the lesson

My experience in tutoring high-school students has been helping them with their english homework. English writing and reading are most common areas students seeked my help. On the occasion of helping a newcomer to Canada with their projects, I got to help them out of their comfort zone and into lots of talking practices. Not only schoolwork, but we also focus on the essentials to getting around in public such as asking questions, providing answers about self, understanding directions.
My help is ideal for high school students in their english classes.
