About Parama

Hello! I am currently pursuing my MBA with a specialization in Finance at IBS Hyderabad. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree in Accounting and Finance from Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration, University of Calcutta.

I have a strong academic foundation in Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, Investment Analysis, Financial Markets, and Portfolio Management.

To further strengthen my financial knowledge, I have completed certifications in Financial Modeling and Valuation from NSE Academy, along with Bloomberg certifications covering Financial Markets, Finance Fundamentals, and ESG.

Beyond academics, I have gained practical exposure to financial analysis, investment valuation, financial modeling, and risk assessment through internships and academic projects. These experiences have helped me understand how financial concepts are applied in real-world situations.

What motivates me to teach is my interest in making finance easier to understand. I enjoy breaking down complicated concepts into simple explanations and helping others understand the reasoning behind them.

Having studied these subjects myself, I understand the challenges students face, particularly with financial numericals, formulas, and technical concepts.

I would love to share my knowledge with B.Com, BBA, MBA, and other students who want to build a strong foundation in finance and accounting.

My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, understanding concepts, and progressing at their own pace.

About the lesson

I believe that finance and accounting become much easier when concepts are explained logically rather than simply memorized. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex topics, building strong conceptual foundations, and helping students develop confidence in their understanding.

**My Teaching Methodology:**

I begin by understanding the student's existing knowledge and identifying areas where they need additional support. I then explain concepts from the basics, gradually moving towards more advanced applications.

For numerical subjects such as Financial Management, Corporate Finance, and Accounting, I use step-by-step problem-solving techniques, explaining the reasoning behind every formula and calculation.

For theoretical subjects, I use practical examples and real-world financial situations to make concepts easier to understand and remember.
