About Cat
I am a friendly, calm and positive lifelong learner. In my eyes, education is life-enhancing and should not be made to feel like a chore!
My path into medicine was not conventional - I first graduated with BA Hons in Swahili Language, and worked for several years as a freelance journalist and language tutor at institutions including the University of Exeter and Cambridge University, before switching to medicine.
My application success and prior teaching experience therefore makes me doubly qualified to help you conquer your med application!
I truly believe that curiosity and a creative approach to study and interview not only helps to dissolve some of the pressure associated with stress and exam performance, but also leads to a more rounded and authentic performance at interview - improving your chances of success.

Academic Credentials: I scored 73 in my first attempt at the GAMSAT. I'm especially primed to help students who struggle with Parts 1 & 2, as language, literature, and the humanities are very much my forte. I achieved 100% in English Literature A-Level exams (albeit many moons ago), and graduated with BA honours in Swahili Language and Culture. Let me share my love of language with you!
Professional Credentials: I have tutored young adults at the University of Cambridge & University of Exeter and am a former newsroom journalist now training as a medic.
My approach is flexible and dependent on your goals and exam schedules.
Lessons run from 45mins -1.5hr.
