About Leah

I am a Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and hold an MSc in Applied Mathematics. I specialize in integrating fascinating topics like chaos theory and fractal geometry into my teaching. These areas help students understand complex systems and natural phenomena in a new light. My lessons focus on concepts such as iterated functions, self-similarity, and strange attractors. I use visual examples and computer simulations to make these ideas clear and engaging. This hands-on approach helps learners grasp difficult concepts more easily. I enjoy working with curious students and those interested in interdisciplinary science. Together, we explore how mathematics connects with the world around us. About the lesson

My teaching approach in Maths is focused on building strong problem-solving skills and preparing students thoroughly for important tests like the SAT, GRE, and GMAT. I emphasize efficient problem-solving strategies that work well under time pressure. Together, we identify common pitfalls and develop clear plans to avoid them.

My methodology includes targeted drills and practice tests designed to sharpen skills and build confidence. These exercises help students get used to the format and timing of real exams. This hands-on practice is key to achieving high scores.

I also bring a deep appreciation for the history and logic of mathematics, helping students see the subject as a connected whole rather than isolated problems. This helps them understand concepts better and apply them flexibly.
