About Gaurav

I’m Gaurav, an experienced Maths tutor with 3+ years of teaching experience, helping students from Grades 6–12 build strong concepts, improve problem-solving skills and become more confident in Mathematics. I specialise in IGCSE, IB, GCSE, CBSE and ICSE Mathematics, and I also support students preparing for school examinations, assignments, tests and exam-style questions. My teaching approach is simple: I focus on understanding the concept first, then practise questions step-by-step until the student can solve them independently. Every student has a different learning style, so I adapt my lessons according to their current level, school syllabus and individual goals. Students can expect clear explanations, patient guidance, regular practice and a supportive 1-to-1 learning environment where they can comfortably ask questions and clear their doubts. My goal is not just to help students get the answer — it is to help them understand why the answer is correct and develop the confidence to solve similar problems on their own.

I specialise in: • IGCSE Mathematics • IB Mathematics • UK GCSE Mathematics • CBSE Mathematics • ICSE Mathematics • US Common Core Mathematics • Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Statistics • School tests, homework and exam preparation My online classes are: • 1-to-1 and completely personalised • Adapted to the student’s school syllabus and current level • Focused on understanding concepts rather than memorising formulas • Interactive and question-based • Supported with practice questions and exam-style problems • Designed to improve both accuracy and confidence During lessons, I use a digital whiteboard to explain concepts visually and solve questions step-by-step. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so that we can identify and fix the areas they find difficult. Whether you need help with a particular chapter, regular weekly Maths support, homework, test preparation or exam preparation, I can create lessons according to your specific needs.
