About Hayaat

I am a first-class Mechanical Engineering with Management graduate from The University of Manchester with a passion for learning and teaching! My STEM background means I love all things maths and physics but I also did English literature for A-Levels and it's kept a special place in my heart. The student's personality and needs tailor my teaching style, as someone who has been tutored in the past, I know the importance of finding a style that works best for you! Ensuring you stay engaged as a student is a top priority, as well as making sure you're enjoying the session to get the best results. If you feel you would benefit from my flexible teaching style, I'd love to speak with you further to get started!

About the lesson

• Lesson times range from an hour to two depending on the student's needs
• I like to take a student-centred learning approach where I tailor sessions to what the student is least confident in, using a lot of real-life examples to help solidify knowledge of concepts
• I like to combine this with a focus on examination technique, to ensure the student is comfortable with taking exams
• I've tutored for over two years now with students ranging from primary school to first-year university

Perfect! I never really enjoyed Math because I have always found it difficult and overwhelming. All of this changed when I started to have lessons with Hayaat.
She makes the most complex topics very easy to understand which actually makes me enjoy math for the first time ever in my life. Hayaat leaves no stone unturned and makes sure you have complete understanding of a topic before moving on. She is very patient, understanding and kind. She is also really funny which makes the lessons that much more enjoyable.
I just finished a lesson with her and already can't wait for the next one.
