About Andy
I started teaching in September 2001 in a co-ed comprehensive and since then have taught in New Zealand for four years and back in the UK for the last ten years. I've taught in an all boys school, an all girl's school and mixed schools in the state sector and the independent sector. I have taught GCSE and iGCSE Higher and AQA L2 Further Maths. I teach A Level Pure, Stats and Mechanics. I currently tutor for GCSE and A Level.

I once asked my maths teacher for help in an A Level maths class. He said "No, you should be able to do it". This is why I became a teacher - to not say that! My approach is always to help each individual as much as possible by changing the style, the explanation, the method. I believe with the right tools and thinking skills, everyone can be successful in maths to some degree.
