About Niovi
I'm a maths student at Durham University, now going into my second year. I received an A* in A-level maths, A in A-level further maths and a 9 in GCSE Maths. I have experience teaching maths at KS2, KS3/4 and KS5 level.

My teaching methodology is based on two core ideas:
1) Lessons should be tailored to the individual needs of the student
2) Lessons should inspire and challenge the student
STEM subjects are hard, and every student has different needs to understand a concept. I will aspire to understand the student's unique learning style and adapt my teaching technique to explain concepts in a way that is most natural to them.
STEM is also a deeply fascinating and rewarding field of study, and beyond understanding concepts well enough to answer exam questions on them I believe that students should be encouraged to explore the subject further than the syllabus and gain appreciation for where the knowledge is relevant in the real world.
