About Tom

I am a world-traveller and passionate maths and science teacher.
I love teaching and learning myself.
I love sports, culture, music and .... numbers!

After meeting me, you'll see that I'm easy going and friendly, but also passionate and experienced. I've spent over 10 years tutoring and over 6 years teaching in schools around the globe.

I studied myself in the United Kingdom and graduated a BSc in Maths and Physics. I then went on to graduate as a teacher of secondary education. I worked as both a teacher and a tutor in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Spain, and now: New Zealand.

I'm looking forward to engaging some new students here and helping both them and myself engage with Maths and Science and grow as a learner.

About the lesson

Hi there,

Thanks for taking a look at my info. I'm a very experienced teacher and tutor, specialising in Maths and Science. I have worked online and in-person with students form age 6 to 36 and from primary school level up to university. I provide a comfortable and engaging work atmosphere to help my students understand, strengthen, grow and pass exams.

I'm friendly and sociable - I like to keep a relaxed yet professional atmosphere with my students, allowing the to shine their best.
I have an unlimited supply of resources and understating from my experience as a school teacher.

My students tend to have 1 or 2 60 minutes lesson per week.
We go over homework, assignments or lessons from school and prepare for future assignment or exams by practicing worksheets.

Reilly is a calm and collected learner. He picks up new concepts quickly. He has some gaps in his prior learning but these are filling up quickly!
