About Michael
I am a semi-retired IT Professional with experience of teaching university students and junior graduates when at work. Currently, I am a major tutor for my grandchildren.
I conduct classes for 7-8-9 years pupils at my recently renovated house where I live with my wife. Upon request, I can come to your house; on week-day afternoons/evenings or on week-ends.

I prefer a collaborative approach to the task. Particularly, in the first step, I try to validate current level in maths and problems, if any. Then, we move along the individual scheme - with new materials for those who need to learn more with the aim on GCSE test or with repeating the school's material that has been missed or misunderstood. For those students, I can help with homework. With all my efforts, I boost student's self-confidence, which helps them in the future learning.
From time to time, I recommend taking tests to check how the material has been learnt before going further.
I can return to or focus on the topics you point to regardless your motivations. In general, I am following the GCSE programme and parent's requests.

Details
My cancellation policy:
1) if the lesson where I have to travel is cancelled within 2 hours of its scheduled time, I charge the lesson fee in full
2) if the lesson that I take at home or online is cancelled within 1 hour of its scheduled time, I charge the lesson fee in full
