About Nina

I have twelve years of experience teaching math and have worked with students of all ages and skill levels. About the lesson

In my Maths lessons, I integrate a mix of topics including SAT math, algebra, geometry, middle school math, and elementary school math, ensuring students develop a well-rounded understanding. Lessons begin by reinforcing foundational concepts such as number sense, arithmetic operations, fractions, ratios, and reasoning patterns. I provide step-by-step guidance, helping students understand both how to solve problems and why solutions work, fostering deep comprehension and confidence.

As learners progress, we cover algebraic expressions, multi-step equations, geometry applications, word problems, and SAT-specific strategies. I emphasize analytical thinking, problem-solving techniques, and logical reasoning. Guided practice, contextual examples, and concept integration help students apply knowledge independently while connecting multiple areas of mathematics.

Advanced sessions focus on complex, multi-part problems and strategic approaches for exams and real-world applications. Students develop resilience, critical thinking, and self-confidence in their abilities. My goal is to create an environment where mathematics feels approachable, structured, and engaging, allowing learners to grow both academically and intellectually.
