About Jake
Hi, I am Jake and I am just entering my first year at Oxford to study History and Politics.
I have just finished my A-levels, so I know how stressful they can be, and still remember GCSEs well. I have spent the last two years delivering tuition sessions to students, predominantly in GCSE Maths.
Whatever your ability, I will always try and bring out the strengths in you, and help you understand the fundamental concepts that we apply in maths.

Lessons will be a minimum of an hour, and may be booked in half hour blocks after that, though most students prefer an hour.
Sessions tend to be oriented towards one or two specific types of questions or areas, including a period of explanation and demonstration from myself, and then problem solving, which students will do in discussion. All lessons make extensive use of software and resources that I will use to demonstrate harder to grasp concepts in maths.
These lessons will be useful for children of all ages, though best targeted at those working towards GCSE or A-level exams.
