About Allen Graham
Ever since I was young, I have been a keen enjoyer of both mathematics and physics, and completed a PhD in applied mathematics at the end on 2021.
Since the PhD I have worked a few academic and non-academic jobs including an internship at tech start up, a postgraduate research role using AI to automate air traffic control, and a role teaching masters students at the University of Bath.
Throughout my studies and professional career I have also taught maths and physics both in person and online to undergraduates at my University and to students at GCSE level and above on platforms like SuperProf.
I think the subject matter is great fun, and I enjoy helping students understand the world more deeply, supporting them to achieve their academic goals, and getting them to the school or University of their dreams.

I like to take a diagnostic approach to lessons; identifying the key areas of misunderstanding that students have and ensuring all these gaps are filled in.
I am also happy to tailer lessons more specifically toward exam preparation as we approach exam season, focusing more on exam style questions and the specific requirements of mark schemes.
