About Rishabh

Hello! I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics graduate from University College London (UCL), one of the top 10 ranked universities globally. With a high First Class degree (81.3% average) and ranking in the top 5% of my department, I have a strong academic foundation and a deep understanding of Physics and Mathematics.

I am passionate about education and committed to helping my students achieve their academic goals. Whether you are preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or need help with lower-level Physics and Maths, I am here to provide expert guidance and support.

I still vividly remember preparing for my own A-Levels and GCSEs. It was a challenging time, filled with long hours of studying and practicing. Through this experience, I discovered various techniques and tricks that significantly improved my efficiency and understanding. I often wish someone had shared these strategies with me earlier, as they made a tremendous difference in my performance and confidence.

These techniques continued to serve me well throughout my university studies. At UCL, I learned new ways to tackle complex problems and continuously adapted my methodologies in both Maths and Physics. This ongoing process of refinement has made me a better problem solver and deepened my appreciation for the subjects.

With several years of experience, I aim to pass on these valuable insights to my students.

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I believe in a student-centered approach, tailoring each session to the individual needs of the student. I focus on building a strong foundation in core concepts which align with the specification of the exam board to maximise efficiency and then apply those concepts to problem-solving. I use a variety of teaching tools but I find practicing problems is vital for excelling in maths and physics -given my personal experience

Typical Length of a Lesson: Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, but I can adjust the length based on the student’s needs and learning pace.

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: In addition to my academic qualifications, I have experience of tutoring students at various levels. I have not only succeeded in helping students improve their grade, but given them a new confidence in their abilities, which I believe to be more important.

Who Are My Lessons For: My lessons are designed for students preparing for their GCSE and A-Level exams, but I also cater to younger students who need help with lower-level Physics and Maths. I welcome students of all ages who are eager to improve their understanding and performance in these subjects. I can teach via Zoom using an iPad or in person if in Northampton/London
