About Sophie
I've been giving lessons for the past couple of years to students from year 7 to 11 whilst at school, during this time I tutored around 10-15 different students of varying ability levels. Throughout our lessons I was able to see their confidence and ability in different topics grow. As someone who has recently finished sixth form, I have a good understanding of the kind of lessons that students tend to engage with the most and how to approach topics in a stress-free and encouraging way which makes growth and improvement a lot more achievable for students.

As a student I always found that I performed the best when I completely understood something, so when I am tutoring my main goal is to ensure that everything we go over makes complete sense, this way any question in the topic should be achievable. My lessons tend to be fluid as I find that overly structured or rigid sessions tend not to have the same impact as focusing on what's important at the time.
