I am a university of York student that has been tutoring people in maths for the past year.
At GCSE I achieved six grade 9s, including maths, and at A level I achieved 4 A*s, including maths.
I have tutored people ranging from ages 12-18 and have vastly improved the ability, confidence and results of all of my students.

I plan my lessons in advance to ensure I can maximise the learning that goes on.
I go through each topic from the basics to help all parts of it seem clearer and like to ensure my students understand one thing before moving onto something harder.
I also put a focus on exam questions and make sure that students can put their knowledge into practice effectively so they can perform well in exams.
