About Anu
Hi! My name is Anu Goel and I am from India. Since the beginning of my academic life, I have been fascinated by how simple scientific facts and mathematical theories explain the world around us so beautifully. Through teaching, I'd like to share my perspective and understanding of the same with kids who are just beginning to learn these concepts, in the hope that I can make them fall as much in love with learning as I am.
I've completed my bachelor's in Electronics and Communications Engineering from College of Engineering, Roorkee, following which I pursued masters in the field of Biomedical Engineering at MNNIT, Allahabad. I also had the opportunity to do a project at IIT Delhi following my M. Tech.
I haven't ever tried professional teaching, but having received an encouraging response from the kids I've taught, I wanted to give it a serious shot.

I believe teaching is very much like having a good conversation where everyone should have a turn to speak and to be listened to carefully. I approach tutoring in such a way that I show the students the basics, and then give them a variety of practice exercises and urge them figure out the answers themselves. If in doubt, I would keep prompting them to find the right answers thereby helping them to grasp the right concepts. Above all, i try to create a friendly and safe space for my students where they feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, taking risks, asking questions and confronting challenges in their learning.
