About Hadley

My journey in Mathematics began with a strong interest in numbers and logical patterns. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, which gave me a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence in their abilities.

I believe that every student can succeed in Maths with the right guidance and support. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and consistent practice. I use examples that are easy to understand and encourage students to ask questions and explore different methods. This helps them build both confidence and independence in their learning.

Outside teaching, I continue to engage with Mathematics through problem solving and learning new techniques. Teaching Maths is fulfilling because I see students grow from feeling unsure to becoming confident problem solvers. Helping them achieve this transformation is something I truly enjoy.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes much simpler when students understand the reasoning behind each step instead of memorising formulas. In my lessons, I focus on building strong foundations in algebra, geometry, calculus, and number systems through clear and structured explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand how each solution is formed and why it works. This approach helps reduce mistakes and builds confidence over time.

Lessons are designed to match each student’s level and pace. Beginners focus on understanding basic concepts with simple examples and visual explanations. Intermediate learners work on applying methods to different types of problems and improving accuracy. Advanced students focus on solving complex problems, improving speed, and preparing for exams. Each session includes practice exercises, guided solutions, and feedback to ensure steady improvement.

Mathematics also helps students develop logical thinking and analytical skills. As they begin to recognise patterns and relationships, they gain confidence in solving problems independently. My goal is to make Maths feel approachable and engaging, helping students build strong skills that support both academic success and everyday problem solving.
