About Elise

I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and have 9 years of experience teaching students across multiple academic levels. My approach emphasizes clarity, structured guidance, and building strong conceptual understanding while encouraging analytical reasoning and independent problem-solving.

I adapt lessons to student needs, providing foundational support for beginners and advanced challenges for higher-level learners. I integrate exercises, examples, visual aids, and discussions to foster engagement, curiosity, and independent thinking.

Beyond teaching, I explore applied mathematics in science, finance, and technology, bringing contemporary examples into lessons. Witnessing learners gain confidence, master complex concepts, and develop analytical skills remains the most fulfilling part of my work as a mathematics educator.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes truly engaging when students understand the logic behind formulas, the reasoning behind steps, and the beauty of problem-solving. My lessons cover algebra, calculus, probability, geometry, and applied problem-solving, with stepwise explanations, interactive exercises, visualizations, and real-life examples. I focus on building conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and independent reasoning, ensuring learners develop confidence and mastery. Students are encouraged to explore multiple approaches, ask questions, and apply logical thinking to every problem.

I structure lessons according to proficiency. Beginners work on arithmetic, fundamental equations, and basic geometric reasoning. Intermediate learners explore functions, trigonometry, multi-step problem-solving, and analytical applications. Advanced learners tackle calculus, optimization, modeling, and complex problem scenarios. Exercises, guided reasoning, and real-world examples reinforce understanding, preparing students for exams, competitions, and applied mathematics challenges.

My goal is to cultivate analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and academic confidence.
