About Alexander
I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Houston. My course load was heavy on math, especially statistics and calculus. I am currently a Banker but have held financial analyst positions where building complex financial models were part of the job. I am comfortable with numbers, and am glad to show others how easy math can be.

First, we need to see what topics the student will be tested on in their math class. We can find this in the agenda, from homework, or I can email the teacher.
Then the student will attempt to complete the homework on their own. This will allow me to see what they already know, so I can create exercises that target their weak points and bridge any gaps in their studying.
Lastly, tie the math lesson into real world applications because they WILL use math in the real world. Now is the time to prepare them for that.
