About Ronit

My professional journey in Mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, logical structures, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I gained deep theoretical knowledge and applied experience. Over 12 years of teaching, I have guided students ranging from elementary school math learners to those preparing for SAT math and Calculus exams. My approach emphasizes building conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and independent problem-solving skills, allowing students to gain confidence and achieve academic success. I place great importance on understanding each student’s cognitive style and adapting explanations accordingly. I employ stepwise instruction, visualization techniques, and real-world examples to make abstract topics like geometry, algebra, and Calculus accessible and relevant. I encourage active questioning, experimentation, and reflection, creating a supportive environment where learners feel empowered to tackle challenges and learn from mistakes. Beyond classroom teaching, I remain engaged with mathematics through research, problem-solving, and curriculum development. This enables me to bring contemporary techniques and practical applications into lessons. Teaching mathematics is deeply rewarding because I witness students grow from hesitation to mastery, developing not only academic proficiency but also critical thinking, resilience, and self-confidence. About the lesson

Mathematics becomes approachable and engaging when students understand connections between ideas rather than memorizing isolated steps. My lessons focus on helping learners develop strong conceptual understanding across elementary school math, middle school math, geometry, algebra, SAT math, and Calculus. I emphasize reasoning, pattern recognition, and structured problem-solving, enabling students to approach challenges with clarity and confidence. Each session integrates step-by-step explanation, guided practice, and reflective discussion to encourage active participation and independent thinking.

Lesson design is tailored to the learner’s level. Elementary learners focus on number sense, arithmetic operations, and fundamental reasoning skills. Middle-level students concentrate on algebraic thinking, proportional reasoning, and geometry visualization typical of middle school math. Advanced learners explore algebra, SAT math strategies, and introductory Calculus concepts, emphasizing analytical reasoning, accuracy, and methodical problem-solving. Guided exercises, independent practice, and feedback are integral components of each session to ensure understanding and mastery.

Mathematics lessons also cultivate patience, focus, and logical reasoning. As learners gain confidence, anxiety decreases, and problem-solving skills improve across subjects.
