About Chanel
I am a student at the University of New Haven. I have been volunteering to tutor students in topics such as algebra, basic math, and calculus since high school. I also have 3 years experience of professional tutoring in mathematics. I aspire to be a teacher and my goal is to use tutoring as experience as a gateway into teaching.

My teaching methods is generally more hands on. However, I tailor each experience based on the student. Some students learn through examples, while others may learn by relating the examples to easier topics. I am a very patient teacher because studies show math is one of the topics with low success rates especially in females.
