About Wes
My passion for Mathematics began with an appreciation for logic, patterns, and problem-solving. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics before earning a PhD in Mathematics. During the last 12 years, I have helped students improve their understanding through patient and structured guidance.
I believe every learner can achieve meaningful progress with the right support. My teaching style emphasises clarity, adaptability, and building confidence alongside technical skills. I work closely with students to create lessons that match their needs and goals.
Outside education, I enjoy studying mathematical applications in science, engineering, and data analysis. These interests help me demonstrate the practical relevance of Mathematics. Watching students overcome challenges and achieve success remains one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to help students build confidence while developing a strong understanding of key concepts. We explore algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus through clear explanations and carefully structured examples. I focus on helping learners understand the reasoning behind methods rather than simply memorising procedures.

I create an encouraging environment where students feel supported throughout their learning journey. As confidence grows, learners become more independent and capable of solving unfamiliar problems. My goal is to help students achieve long-term success while enjoying the learning process.
