Our experience with the Alizresa has been very positive. He was able to break down complex concepts into simpler explanations, which really helped my child gain confidence in the subject. Mr. Ghassemi is very thorough and generous with his time. He puts a lot of effort into working with my daughter, sending her practice problems and checking her progress. He often makes himself available for additional time if she has a test or other specific need. He is extremely professional about keeping appointments and following up on any requests. We are very lucky to have him.

Mr. Ghassemi is a very great tutor. In fact, I would say that he is better than my teacher at school. The main reason behind this is because he goes in depth with the lessons and gives numerous practice problems, both MCQ and FRQ for me [student] to understand. He also gives detailed solutions to each one and works with the student had they got it wrong or simply do not understand. When a student simply does not understand, he is extremely patient and listens to their ideas and provides an explanation if their ideas are correct, if they are wrong he makes sure to delve deeper into the concepts that are required for the optimal understanding of that problem. He also makes sure you understand the concptual reasoning behind each question. Mr. Ghassemi is definitely highly qualified in both Maths and Physics. He spends a lot of time on his own apart from the one on one student session to work each problem out before hand and sometimes even provides multiple approaches or solutions regarding how to solve the questions. He helps with both preparing for the AP Exams as well as preparing for unit tests and homework given by the school. I would definitely recommend Mr. Ghassemi to anyone requiring a high quality tutor that gives high quality services!

My tutor was Alireza Amir-Ghassemi in Differential Equations Math. Mr.Ghassemi is very knowledgeable in the Math, Physics, and Engineering subject’s. Even though we both had a challenging semester due to my teacher lack of assignments, Mr.Ghassemi still prepared a class for me every week so I could learn and be supported in my weak areas. We followed the syllabus of my class and stayed relevant to what my teacher was teaching to avoid confusion. He is very responsive and accessible as a tutor. He is very kind and friendly and I recommend him to anyone in the world who needs help with their Math classes. Last semester because of Mr.Ghassemi’s help I was able to get rid of my failing grade and pass my math class! I look forward to working with him in the near future.

Alireza has taught my daughter for many years. We have never encountered a teacher with this much passion for teaching mathematics and physics. My daughter has done well in school with his teaching. He has an in depth knowledge of the subject matter that he teaches, and is very methodical. He is very punctual and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend him as a mathematics and physics teacher.

He was a great teacher to me when I was struggling in algebra 1 and then again with honors pre-calc . Mr. Ali was very kind and diligent teacher. He always took his time to make sure I truly understood what he was teaching me. He was always open to questions and had great patience with me every class. I saw great results in my grades too. Highly recommend!

The tutor works at the level of the kid. He goes above and beyond to make sure the child understands the concepts so that they are able to solve anything put in front of them. Alireza has been a huge help to my son. He was really struggling with Calculus this fall (failing actually). He is not used to doing poorly and does not like to ask for help. He was reluctant to even talk to a tutor but he was not understanding his work at all. Things started improving after his first session and he quickly turned his E around into a B. Alireza is patient and flexible, and my son plans to continue working with him throughout this school year.
