About Daniel
I am a Mathematics graduate from the University of Exeter, achieving 1st class honours. This has given me a great passion for and understanding of mathematics, something which I use to develop engaging and productive sessions for students.
My passion for tutoring began while in Sixth Form, where I tutored students in the year below, helping them to achieve the grades they desired in GCSE Mathematics. I then volunteered to tutor disadvantaged GCSE students during my first year of University. Throughout my school and University studies, I realised I have a talent for figuring out gaps in people's understanding and helping them to achieve a deep understanding of the concepts.

I have a passion for helping students understand mathematics, no matter the age or previous ability. I have previously focussed on students struggling with GCSE Mathematics, helping to first give them a deep understanding and then develop the required fluency. This approach is the same for students struggling with KS3 or A Level Further Maths. I believe confidence is key and lots of my effort will go to build the students confidence through our sessions. I am also happy to help students who need extra help to get those top grades, or to excel in entrance exams, at whatever stage of their mathematics journey.
My sessions are generally one hour, but I am happy to arrange sessions lasting between 45mins and 2 hours.
Subjects I teach include (but are not limited to): KS3, GCSE and A Level Mathematics (including Statistics and Mechanics and A Level) , GCSE and A Level Further Mathematics (including Statistics, Mechanics, Discrete/Decision and Further Pure at A Level), MAT and STEP tests.
