I pick the topic and analyse it, so that nothing is left to teach. After that, for teaching I teach the entire topic and relate the main points with their opposites and similars. For example, if I teach "real numbers", then I ask students why 'real' is added to 'numbers'? Because there are complimentary numbers called "complex numbers". So there are real numbers and complex numbers.
