About Cormac
I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with a deep understanding in Mathematics. I spent the last 4 years studying the subject in Galway achieving a first class honours result in every subject taken. I achieved 601 points in my leaving certificate with 97% in honours maths. Over the last year I tutored 1st and 2nd year university courses in statistics along with secondary school students but I also have 4 years experience teaching people how to surf.

I believe the best way to learn maths is to do maths. Typically a lesson will consist of solving problems in a certain topic (generally from exam papers but challenging homework problems are also welcome). I may show a quick example of how to approach a certain problem and the thought process to follow. However, most of the work will be done by you and I will simply be giving hints of where to go next, explaining new concepts, or answering any questions you may have about the problem. The lesson will finish with setting a few sample problems for you to do in your own time. I am also happy to help with setting study/revision plans.
