About Ravi
I have a masters degree in mathematics from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India, which is a premier institute for mathematics in the country. I am further applying for positions as a PhD student in mathematics. I have a good conceptual knowledge of mathematics and do not treat mathematics as bunch of formulas to remember, I focus on understanding of the subject.

My teaching method is to understand the weakness and strength of the student and their goals in the subject. Regarding mathematics, I have a very conceptual approach so that students do not have to memorize, but rather understand the subject. Once the student has understanding, they can ace any exam.
I do not treat mathematics as a set of formula to memorize. I am open to all kinds of creative questions asked by students and exploring them if I don't know the answer myself. I am also open to feedback and criticism by the students to improve my teaching.
The lessons are for anyone from high school to college level.
