I am M.Sc in Mathematics from IIT Madras (1985) and a retired IT Professional. Over the last 10 years, I have taught mathematics to urban & rural school children, both online and in-person.

About Shobha
I love teaching maths and promoting analytical thinking through maths. I am a friendly coach and like to be informal with my students. I believe in making math a fun subject and work towards removing any apprehensions students have towards maths. My hobbies include music and study of vedic scriptures.

I teach mathematics to Classes 9 to 12 from any board. A deep understanding of concepts as well as practical application are both important for any learning. My class includes active learning by thinking & doing, group activities and step by step problem solving. Mathematics requires a lot of practice. I encourage students to work out problems on their own and provide detailed feedback wherever required.
