About Damon
My passion for Mathematics comes from a lifelong interest in patterns, logic, and structured thinking. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics before earning a PhD in Applied Mathematics. During the last 11 years, I have helped students achieve stronger results through focused and supportive instruction.
I believe that successful learning happens when students feel both challenged and encouraged. My teaching approach combines patience, adaptability, and clear communication to help learners progress confidently. Every lesson is designed to support meaningful improvement.
Outside education, I enjoy exploring mathematical applications in engineering, technology, and data analysis. These interests help me demonstrate the practical value of Mathematics. Helping students overcome obstacles and achieve success remains one of the most satisfying parts of my teaching career.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to help students develop strong understanding and confidence across a range of topics. We cover algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics through clear explanations and carefully structured examples. I focus on helping learners understand the logic behind methods and formulae.
Lessons include guided practice, problem-solving activities, and personalised support to address individual challenges. Students work through concepts step by step while developing accuracy and analytical thinking skills. Teaching methods are adjusted to suit different learning preferences and goals.
I aim to create a positive environment where students feel encouraged to improve and challenge themselves. As their confidence increases, they become more capable of solving unfamiliar problems independently. My goal is to help learners build lasting mathematical skills and self-belief.
