About Izhan
I have completed my A-Levels and now an aspiring medic waiting to be offered a place at university. Along my journey I discovered my own way of understanding the subjects that was much more interesting and allowed me to grow my knowledge much faster than the technique used by my teachers. During my A-Levels I helped and 'tutored' my friends and students in the area where I live and they eventually liked my technique.

My teaching method would begin with an activity to determine prior knowledge of a subject and then use that to prepare my lessons to address the gaps in their knowledge. With the data collected I would prepare my lessons by explaining the topic followed by worked examples then give the students some activities to complete and in the end a challenge question to test what they have learnt. For example, a lesson in geometry would begin with testing the prior knowledge of the students' understanding of 2D and 3D calculations. From here I would select one of the questions from the prior knowledge test and explain how to calculate it using my own diagrams and simple language.
