About Puneethkrishna
My name is Puneethkrishna, and I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Data Science from RMIT University, where I graduated with a GPA of 3.4 out of 4.0. My academic background has given me a deep and practical understanding of mathematics, statistics, physics and analytical problem-solving at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Beyond my qualifications, I have professional experience applying these skills in real working environments — from managing and analyzing large financial datasets in the fintech industry to building data models and reporting systems used by businesses to make decisions. I understand not just the theory, but how these subjects connect to the real world, and I use that perspective to make lessons relevant and meaningful for students.
I have trained and mentored colleagues throughout my professional career, which has sharpened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly, adapt my communication to different learning styles and identify exactly where someone is getting stuck. I am patient by nature and believe that no question is too basic — the goal is always genuine understanding, not just getting through the material.
I am based in Darwin and offer lessons online, so I work with students across Australia. Whether you are preparing for an important exam, trying to catch up after falling behind, or looking to genuinely master a subject, I will work with you at your pace until the concepts click.

Hi, I'm Puneethkrishna, a Mechanical Engineering graduate and Master of Data Science (RMIT University) with a strong academic foundation in mathematics, statistics and science across both undergraduate and postgraduate study.
My approach is straightforward: I start by understanding exactly where a student is and where they are struggling, rather than working through a fixed plan that may not match what they actually need. From there I build concepts from the ground up, using real-world examples to make abstract ideas concrete. I focus heavily on the "why" behind each method, not just the steps, because students who understand what they are doing can solve problems they have never seen before.
Typical lessons run 60 to 90 minutes. The first session is always about diagnosing gaps and setting a clear direction. After that, each lesson balances concept explanation, worked examples and practice problems with immediate feedback.
My lessons are suited to:
High school students from Year 7 through to Year 12, including HSC, VCE and SACE Mathematics and Science
First and second year university students in Engineering, Science, Commerce or IT courses covering calculus, statistics, probability, physics or data analysis
Adults returning to study or preparing for entry tests
I am patient, structured and genuinely enjoy making difficult topics feel approachable. Lessons are available online, so location is no barrier.
