About Samuel
I am currently a sub teacher on the path to becoming a teacher. I have tutored on the side since college, teaching fellow students calculus. Then after graduation, I had a typical data entry job, but I had also tutored k-8th grade during this period.

My teaching method is quite straight forward; teach with guided instruction and participation from student and give time for independent work after. Regardless of a student's self belief on their math abilities, I believe everyone can learn and succeed in math. What I have observed from my previous lessons is that when there is a misunderstanding, there is something fundamental the student is not understanding behind the current concept, so that must be addressed first.
