About Vasiliki

I have been giving lessons for four years and I had five students each year which means that I have taught 20 students totally..All of my sudents had achieved the highest grade of the class or have changed their scores from very low to very high.

About the lesson

I am Vasiliki Tzouti and I enjoy teaching children, teens and teenagers of primary and secondary school ages. I have studied Mathematics at the University of Athens and I am specialized in mathematics education. I have been doing mathematics in the form of private tutoring for four years. I am patient and I consider my communication skills to be a key strength of mine through-and-through, enhancing the necessary transmissibility towards the students and parents that a valued teacher and coach should have. I enjoy sharing all necessary information to parents about how their children can develop further and how to overall strengthen their weaknesses when not at school. Personally, I do not give more weight at the theory or methodology of each exercise - I try both ways, in order to deliver the information and help the students absorb it efficiently. Usually, I educate them first of with the theorems and the facts or insights that are based upon and then it I solve with them exercises and problems, which I also ask more of in the form of next time deliverables. Deliverables are usually solved in the classroom by randomly selecting a student in the class and helping the rest of the class digest the methodology as well as get the right answer. The purpose of that is that I want to understand if the pupils digested the theory and application that we had the day before.
As a teacher I have faced many different cases of pupils such as pupils with special disabilities or dyslexia. These cases helped me as well to learn more about the necessity to be even more patient and provide exceptionally focused help and support towards each pupil and parent.
