About Stephen

I’m Stephen — a Mathematician (MSc) and mathematics teacher based in Amsterdam, currently working as a Data Engineer. I know what it’s like when math feels impossible: in 3 VWO I received a negative recommendation for Mathematics B, and later turned that exact subject into one of my strongest.

My tutoring is practical, structured, and confidence-building. I quickly identify the missing link, fix it, and make the rest click. I’ve helped students and adult learners go from “I’m not a math person” to consistent, repeatable results.

With 15+ years of experience, the only question is how quickly you want to progress.

About the lesson

I believe anyone can learn math — with the right explanation, structure, and practice. I’ve delivered exam training with strong results and consistently high satisfaction, and I bring the same approach to 1-on-1 tutoring.
