About Ryan
I am a recent college graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with majors in mathematics and philosophy. As a student, I found a passion for learning math, and as a tutor I've found a greater passion for teaching it! My goal is to be a college professor one day, so I treat every teaching opportunity with the utmost attention and care.

I have taught all math courses ranging from elementary arithmetic to calculus three and low-level advanced topics. In teaching, I try to understand exactly the thought process of my students so that I may properly help them where they need help by addressing what they already know. I like to provide students with several methods of thinking about and solving problems, including insight into how I would approach the problem. Also, I like to provide context for the relevance of the mathematical concepts the students are learning.
