About Lavika
I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students build strong algebra skills. I hold a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science, which supports my structured teaching style. I work mainly with middle school students who need extra support. Many students feel overwhelmed at first. I help them feel confident again.
I focus on linear equations, polynomial expressions, and functions. These are key areas in algebra. I break problems into simple, step-by-step explanations. This helps students follow along easily. Understanding builds gradually over time.
I use puzzles and engaging activities to keep lessons interesting. This makes learning more enjoyable. I also use real-life examples to show how math applies in daily life. This helps students connect with the subject. It makes learning more meaningful.
I’ve worked with students of different learning styles. I adapt my teaching to suit each individual. I also support students dealing with math anxiety. I create a calm and encouraging environment. My goal is to make algebra simple, enjoyable, and rewarding.

I believe maths should be taught in a simple and structured way. My approach focuses on algebra, equations, and functions as core topics. I also include graphing, data interpretation, and basic statistics. These skills help students understand and work with real-world data.
