My lessons show how maths plays an important role in everyday life, especially when it comes to money decisions. We explore financial literacy in a simple and practical way. About the lesson

I am a Maths tutor with over seven years of teaching experience and an MSc in Computational Mathematics. My approach is holistic and designed to make advanced mathematical ideas clear and meaningful for non-STEM majors. I focus on conceptual understanding and real-world relevance rather than heavy computation, because maths should explain the world, not intimidate it. I use everyday analogies and historical context to bring abstract ideas to life and show how mathematical thinking has evolved over time. By highlighting the big ideas behind complex theories, students begin to see patterns instead of isolated formulas. I have worked closely with liberal arts students, humanities scholars, and those who come with past maths phobia, helping them replace fear with clarity and curiosity. Lessons are paced gently, with open discussion and strong support at every step. Confidence grows naturally when maths finally starts to make sense.
