About REBECCA
I am a dedicated and knowledgeable math tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and current graduate-level training toward a Master’s degree in Middle School Mathematics Education. My academic background provides me with both a strong mathematical foundation and the instructional skills needed to teach math clearly, effectively, and with purpose. I approach tutoring with professionalism, patience, and a commitment to student success. I understand that math can feel overwhelming or intimidating for many students, and I strive to create a supportive learning environment where questions are encouraged and confidence can grow. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop a deeper understanding of math and the ability to think critically and independently. As a math tutor, my goal is to help students truly understand math, not just memorize steps. With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and current graduate training in middle school mathematics education, I combine strong content knowledge with effective teaching strategies tailored to how students actually learn.
