About Michael
I earned my M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Houston and have spent 5 years tutoring math to students of all ages. As a former TA for UH’s calculus courses, I developed review materials and led group sessions. I aim to make math approachable by connecting abstract concepts to everyday situations.

I start by identifying gaps in algebra or geometry, then progress to pre-calculus and single-variable calculus. Lessons include visual aids (Desmos), real-world applications (engineering examples, budgeting), and step-by-step problem solving. For calculus, we focus on limits, derivatives, and integrals—reinforced with timed practice drills.
