I graduated from The University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics Major) and a Bachelor of Education. I am an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT). I am qualified to teach Primary, Junior, Intermediate and Senior Math. I have 5+ years teaching (mostly in high school) and 10+ years of tutoring experience.

I plan lessons with 2 goals in mind. First is to determine what level my students are at and help target their weaknesses. This helps to build confidence. Second is to engage in conversation with students about their thinking. This helps to determine why their weak areas are weak and it allows for an entry point to begin building to the next step.
I have a very calm and patient demeanor which most students enjoy as I am very understanding to how difficult math can be at times.
