About Crispin
Hi my name is Crispin, and I’d like to help you understand maths in the same way my teachers taught me. I believe a fundamental understanding of maths is crucial not just for achieving good grades, but for almost all problem solving in school, work and later life. I enjoy helping others understand maths in a way that feels intuitive, and something that can be applied to real life.

I see math in an intuitive way and I try to help my students see math in the same way. I split my approach between 20% explaining and 80% running through examples, I believe repetition is the most effective way to understand the content. We will run through easier examples initially to get a solid understanding of the foundations, and then build from there into trickier problems.
Just let me know your current level, what you're working towards, and anything in particular you may be struggling with - and I'll develop a set of lessons tailored just for you.

I highly recommend Crispin as a maths tutor. I’ve lived with him for the past six months and have seen firsthand how dedicated, patient, and knowledgeable he is when it comes to helping others understand maths.
He’s great at breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps and always takes the time to make sure things really make sense. He’s also very approachable and encouraging, which makes it much easier to ask questions and build confidence in the subject.
If you’re looking for a maths tutor who is reliable, supportive, and genuinely passionate about helping students improve, I would definitely recommend him.View more recommendations
