About Shamim
Hi! I’m Shamim, a Master’s student in Mathematics at the University of Ottawa. My undergraduate degree was in pure mathematics, which gave me a strong foundation in rigorous reasoning and proof-based problem solving. I tutor Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Real Analysis, and I also have experience supporting students as a Teaching Assistant. My goal is to make difficult topics feel clear and manageable through step-by-step explanations, lots of practice, and practical strategies for exams and assignments.

In my lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals and clear problem-solving habits. I explain concepts step by step, then we practice many exercises together to learn how to approach different question types. For Calculus and Linear Algebra, I help with computations, intuition, and exam strategies. For Real Analysis and Algebra, I guide you through definitions and proofs, and teach how to write rigorous solutions clearly and confidently.
