About Felix
I have a Bachelor's in Exceptional Education and a Master's in Math Education from Nova Southeastern University. I have been teaching math for over 13 years at the middle school, high school, and post-secondary levels. In those 13 years, I have taught various levels of math and students with a multitude of learning abilities. I have tutored all types of students from elementary school aged needing homework help to young adults needing help on passing entrance exams like the PERT.

My teaching methodology is to first assess what the student knows pertaining to a particular subject. Then I use what he or she knows and make the effort to explain a topic or a concept with examples that the student can relate to. I present the information as coherent, as clear, and as relevant as possible using a variety of different formats. Then I assess whether or not they understood the concept through a simple question and answer or a small assessment.
