About Daniel

My name is Daniel and I have been a math teacher for 3 years. Before I was teaching math, I was tutoring peers and other friends on math concepts. At one point, I did end up helping my entire class learn the concepts of pre-calculus in my senior class so they would not fail. I have always had a knack for math since I was young and I have always wanted to help people. I have graduated with a master's degree in applied behavior analysis and I am currently a behavior technician where I help children with autism regulate their emotions, communicate effectively, and prepare them for school.

About the lesson

My lesson plans and teaching techniques are catered to each student I teach. I take the time to understand my student and how they learn best. Manipulatives (hands-on material), demonstrations ("I do, We do, You do method), and "talking out loud" help students work through any math problems they may have and is the main focus on how I teach. My math skills range from basic concepts such as the four operations (+,-,x,%) to pre-calculus.
