About Olivia
I strive to always be courteous and professional during my sessions. Rest assured there is never any judgment with how much someone does or doesn't know (we all have to start somewhere!), and there really is no such thing as a stupid question! I also try to be humble and am transparent about when I don't immediately know the answer to something or am unfamiliar with a particular area. I try to be constantly learning and growing myself, and am always looking for ways to improve my lessons or educating techniques!

I have a B.A. and M.S. in Psychology, and have multiple years of experience educating and tutoring college and grad students in statistics, research methods, and quantitative analysis, including the use of statistical tools and software such as R, SPSS, Excel, and STATA. I also have several years of experience being a TA in research methods and various psychology courses. Additionally, I am an experienced scientific writer, and am happy to consult on research papers, including questions about formatting, citations, references, reporting statistical results, etc.
I tutor in science and math more broadly as well, but the specific areas I mentioned above are my highest areas of expertise.
I meet students where they are and cater my lessons to their learning style.
