About Gaurav

Hello! I’m Gaurav, a dedicated and passionate tutor based in Langley, BC, specializing in Math (Grades 5–10), Trigonometry, Arithmetic, and Computer Science. I hold a Master’s in Computer Science with a Major in Math and Computer Science, giving me a strong foundation to explain both theoretical and practical concepts clearly. My goal as a tutor is to help students gain confidence, understand concepts deeply, and achieve better grades. I focus on interactive, personalized lessons that are tailored to each student’s learning style and pace. My teaching approach: I break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps. Each lesson includes explanations, guided examples, and practice problems. I use digital tools like Google Meet and whiteboards for online sessions, or worksheets for in-person classes. I encourage students to ask questions freely and think critically. 1. Introduction

Hello! My name is Gaurav, and I’m a dedicated tutor based in Langley, BC. I specialize in teaching Math (Grades 5–10), Trigonometry, Arithmetic, and Computer Science, and I hold a Master’s in Computer Science with major in Math and Computers. I am passionate about simplifying complex concepts and helping students build confidence, strengthen skills, and achieve better grades.

2. What I offer

I offer clear, step-by-step explanations with plenty of real-life examples to make learning engaging. Whether you need help with homework, exam preparation, or building a stronger foundation, my lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs.

Trigonometry (angles, triangles, identities, word problems)

IT basics (computers, MS Office, Programming)

3. Teaching Method

My lessons are structured around practice + explanation. I begin with a quick check of what the student already knows, then guide them through examples step by step. I use Google Meet and digital whiteboard tools for online lessons, and for in-person tutoring, I provide worksheets and practice materials.

Each 45–60 minute session focuses on:

Explaining the concept clearly.

Solving examples together.

Assigning quick practice to confirm understanding.”
