About Shreya

Hi! I’m Shreya, a Software Engineer with a strong academic foundation—I’ve cleared the UPSC Prelims three times, which reflects my perseverance, discipline, and deep conceptual clarity. I offer Math and Science tuitions for Classes 6–10, with a focus on understanding over memorization. My classes are structured, interactive, and customized to each student’s needs and pace. If you're looking for a teacher who combines technical knowledge, UPSC-level thinking, and a supportive teaching style, I’d love to be part of your learning journey.

About the lesson

As a teacher, my approach is rooted in **clarity, curiosity, and confidence-building**. I believe that every student has a unique learning pace, and my role is to guide them with patience, structure, and encouragement.

---

# **Teaching Techniques & Methods**

I use a blend of:

* **Concept-based explanations** with relatable real-life examples
* **Visual aids** like diagrams, flowcharts, and mind maps
* **Interactive problem-solving**, not just memorization
* **Regular checkpoints** through quizzes, worksheets, and mini-revisions
* **Encouragement of questions**—no doubt is ever too small

My goal is to make students not just *score well*, but *think clearly* and *apply what they learn* confidently.

---

# **Structure of a Typical Class**

1. **Warm-up (5 mins):** Quick recap of previous session or concept quiz
2. **Core Topic (30–40 mins):** Step-by-step explanation with examples and interaction
3. **Practice (10–15 mins):** Solve questions together and address doubts
4. **Wrap-up (5 mins):** Summary, key takeaways, and short assignment

Classes are tailored based on the student's board (CBSE/ICSE/State), current understanding, and learning style.

---

# **What Makes My Classes Different**

* I’m an **experienced engineer** with a passion for simplifying STEM subjects
* My students say I make math and science “less scary and more relatable”
* I teach in a **calm, non-judgmental environment** where students feel heard
* I integrate **logical reasoning & thinking skills** along with the syllabus
* I'm consistent, communicative, and genuinely invested in student progress

---

# **Who My Classes Are For**

* **School Students (Class 6–12):** Especially those who need strong fundamentals in **Math and Science**
* **Students Preparing for Olympiads or NTSE**
* **Beginner-level Coding or Logical Thinking** for school kids (optional)

My classes are suitable for students who want to:

* Improve grades with conceptual clarity
* Build long-term confidence in STEM subjects
* Learn in a structured yet supportive setup
